The benefits of releasing....

Recently I have been having Kinesiology for a bad habit of mine and the old hidden blocks that have come up have been amazing.

Events stored deep within my subconscious mind suddenly appeared again and by recognising them, acknowledging and letting them go has had a profound affect.

Many of these blocks are not connected to my habit, or so I thought, but even so to clear and release them has been so benificial. It's also been an extremely interesting process. I thought I would be much more emotional but strangely I am not. Yes emotion has come into it but the fascination of what we hold onto has been much more interesting to me.

We all hold blocks within our subconscious minds...whether we are aware of them or not. It's normal as so many events happen during our lives and of course our subconscious minds remembers them all. It's our computers system you could say and sometimes we feel we have dealt with 'stuff' (as I thought I had) but hidden in our minds it still rests.

There are many ways to release these blocks which we can do ourselves or get some help from a professional. There are also some wonderful books to help with the process. One that springs to mind is 'Feel the fear and do it anyway' by Susan Jeffers. Fears are connected sometimes to our blocks too.

Something I wrote about recently also springs to mind - 'Fear is just the unknown' and that powerful statement is true too. The unknown of our way forward and the unknown hidden in our past.

Forgiveness of ourselves and others is a huge healing process. No one is perfect - and who or what is perfect anyway!!
